ACNP - Cardiovascular ICU Team at UT Health East Texas (Tyler, TX) New

UT Health East Texas is seeking an Advanced Practice Practitioner to join our dedicated Cardiothoracic Surgery team in the beautiful city of Tyler, TX. UT Health Tyler is the only quaternary care cardiac surgical program in East Texas.  We are looking for experienced advanced practice practitioners who are experienced in OR first assist and rounding in the ICU. Harvesting experience is a plus!

About the job:

• Employment Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE), Inpatient Only
• Team: Collaborate with expanding team- 3 Surgeons, 2 Advanced Practice Practitioners, and support staff
• Practice Setting: OR, ICU, and floor
• Patient Load: Daily expectation of 15-20 patients
• Schedule: 4, 10-hour shifts
• Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend/month expected
• EMR system: Epic
• Smart Technology: See more patients without extending your day. Our providers use Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation, reduce administrative burden, improve patient flow, and ensure accurate coding—leading to better work-life balance and revenue.

Qualifications:

• BC PA or ACNP
• Minimum 1 yr experience required
