My name is Jodi Van Sickle, and I am currently enrolled in the Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Texas Arlington. I have been serving Collier County for over 20 years as a firefighter/paramedic/RN. With a background in emergency care and cardiology, I am deeply committed to expanding my skills and knowledge in family practice. My clinical experiences have reinforced my desire to work with patients of all ages, particularly in a holistic approach that emphasizes preventative care, health education, and continuity of care. I believe a strong foundation in family practice is essential for my career as a Family Nurse Practitioner, as it enables me to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives at various stages of health and illness.
I am looking for a preceptor who can provide insight into the complexities of family practice, from managing chronic illnesses to addressing acute care needs. I am eager to learn from your guidance and approach to patient care, and I am committed to contributing to your practice in any way I can, from conducting assessments to assisting with patient education and follow-up.
