PRAC/PRCM 6531: Primary Care of Adults Across the Lifespan (February 23,2026- May 10,2026)
• Types of Patients: Ages 13 and older in the primary care setting for primary care
• Types of Services: Assessment and management of primary care
• Acceptable Preceptor Options: Primary Care, Family Practice, Internal Medicine practitioners that are FNP, AGPCNP, MD, or DO.
• Acceptable Site Options: Family practice, internal medicine practice, or primary care clinic
• Required Practicum Hours: 160 Hours
• Required Patient Encounters: 120 Patients

PRAC/PRCM 6541: Primary Care of Adolescents and Children (May 25,2026- August 9,2026)
• Types of Patients: Children or adolescents from newborn to 17 years of age. Students must see well and sick children. Students are only permitted to see patients that are children or adolescents in the pediatric practice that are aged newborn to 17 years of age.
• Types of Services: Assessment and management of primary care of children and adolescents. Students must see patients in a pediatric setting and must see both well and sick children and adolescents.
• Acceptable Preceptor Options: PNP, FNP specializing in pediatrics, Pediatrician MD or Pediatrician DO.
• Acceptable Site Options: Pediatrician’s office/clinic or a health department clinic that sees pediatric patients from newborn to 17 years.
• Possible Site Options: Family practice or primary care clinics may be possible sites, if the site sees enough pediatric patients across all age groups from newborn to 17 years. Students may need a second site to meet the patient requirements because many family practice and primary care clinics rarely see newborns (0-28 days).
• Required Practicum Hours: 160 Hours
• Required Patient Encounters: 160 Patients
o Students must see a minimum of two patients in each age category: newborn (0-28 days), infant, toddler, preschool, school age, and teenager.

PRAC/PRCM 6552: Advance Nurse Practice in Reproductive Health (August 24,2026- November 10,2026)
• Types of Patients: Women ages 13 and older in need of women’s primary healthcare including reproductive healthcare
• Types of Services: Assessment and management of women’s healthcare, family planning, and reproductive services. Services should include GYN management, pap smears, birth control, perimenopause, menopause, and STD management. Experience with internal vaginal exams, breast exams, etc. is required. Students are not to be involved in or observe births or surgeries.
• Acceptable Preceptor Options: FNP, WHNP, AGNP, AGPCNP, CNM (if providing all GYN services), MD, or DO.
• Acceptable Site Options: Acceptable site options that provide the appropriate women’s healthcare services (e.g. GYN management, pap smears, birth control, perimenopause, menopause, and STD management) may include OB and/or GYN clinics, family practice facilities, internal medicine practices, primary care clinics, health department clinics, or Planned Parenthood.
• Required Practicum Hours: 160 Hours *
• Required Patient Encounters: 100 Patients
Hands-on speculum and bimanual exams (pelvic exams) and breast exams are required.

PRAC/PRCM 6568: Synthesis in Advanced Nursing Practice Care of Patients in Family Care Settings (November 24,2026- February 2027)
• Types of Patients: Care of patients across the lifespan
• Types of Services: Assessment and management of primary care of patients across the lifespan
• Acceptable Preceptor Options: Primary Care, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Specialty Practice practitioners that are a FNP, MD, or DO.
• Required Practicum Hours: 160 Hours *
• Required Patient Encounters: 160 Patients
